Crypto Recovery in Turkey: Fraud, Lost Access, and Exchange Disputes

A Turkish proverb says the devil meddles in hasty work. The days after a discovered loss are built for haste, and the first "recovery agent" to call is counting on it. A calm decision now prevents a second loss.

RVK Recovery is a cryptocurrency recovery practice that serves clients in Turkey remotely and in writing. It has no office, phone line, or staff on the ground in the country. It reviews fraud, lost access, exchange lockouts, and estates with crypto.

Three working rules:

  • It never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, or remote access.
  • The fee is 12.5%, due only after recovered funds reach your own bank account.
  • The first review is confidential, in writing, and carries no obligation.

First steps: how to report a crypto scam in Turkey

Preserve everything: platform screenshots, chats, emails, bank receipts, wallet addresses, transaction IDs (TXID). Delete nothing.

In Turkey, fraud is reported as a criminal complaint (suç duyurusu) to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office (Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı). You can also use the online form of the Cybercrime Department of the General Directorate of Security, report suspicious transactions to MASAK (hotline 191), and report unlicensed platforms to the Capital Markets Board (SPK). These bodies are named as information for you; they are not partners of the practice.

Send no more money, whatever the platform calls it: tax, commission, account unblocking. Distrust anyone who contacts you first offering recovery. An upfront fee, a seed phrase "for verification", a guaranteed result, or urgent remote access means a second scam is in progress.

What the practice reviews

Losses in Turkey concentrate around fake exchanges and investment platforms. The collapse of Thodex remains the national reference point; the same model keeps reappearing in Turkish interfaces and Telegram groups. The practice reviews:

  • Fake exchanges, fake investment platforms, and rug pulls
  • Investment and "signal" groups on Telegram, Instagram, and WhatsApp
  • Romance fraud and pig butchering
  • Phishing, impersonation, SIM swap, and account takeover
  • Forgotten passwords, lost 2FA, and wallet access problems
  • Frozen accounts and blocked withdrawals at genuine exchanges (custodial disputes)
  • Estates that include cryptocurrency
  • Second payments made to fake recovery services

Several "platforms" can belong to one organiser who is already before a court. Checking whether an open case exists is free and needs no wallet credentials.

The picture in Turkey

Most enquiries come from İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, and Bursa, though the files are almost always cross-border. Years of high inflation pushed many savers toward crypto, and Turkish platforms promising high returns met them there. A 2024 law brought crypto asset service providers under SPK licensing; an unlicensed platform is itself reportable.

A typical file: contact through social media or an ad, a platform that looks real, small withdrawals that work at first, then a "tax" or "verification" demand, then silence.

Fees, security, jurisdiction

No win, no fee. The fee is 12.5% of recovered funds, due only after the money reaches your bank account. No retainer, no hourly rate, no cryptocurrency payment to open a file, no charge for a review. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.

The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote desktop access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, or any screen sharing). It never asks you to move remaining coins anywhere as a verification step. Anyone who asks for these things in the practice's name is an impersonator.

Recovery is not guaranteed. The practice does not publish success rates. Some matters have no practical path, and the practice says so in writing.

The practice does not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France. Every other country can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.

FAQ

Can I get my stolen crypto back?

It depends. Recovery is possible where funds can be traced to an exchange or an identifiable party, the evidence is usable, and a court path exists. No practice can promise one.

I was scammed. What should I do first?

Preserve the evidence, send no more money, and file a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office. Then you can request a confidential review.

Do I have to share my seed phrase?

No. Neither this practice nor any legitimate body asks for a seed phrase, a private key, or remote access. Anyone who does is a scammer.

I already reported to the police. Can I still apply?

Yes. A complaint strengthens the file, and a civil recovery path can run alongside it. Mention your report number in the form.

Which countries are excluded?

Citizens and permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, and France are not accepted. Every other country can be considered.

A confidential review

The review starts with six answers: full name, email, country and telephone, amount lost in USD, type of case, and a short account of what happened (up to 5,000 characters). No identity documents are needed for this first check. A specialist replies in writing, within business days. If the file is not suitable, you will be told so in writing.
