Crypto recovery services in Sweden

Swedish has a proverb for this situation: bränt barn skyr elden, a burnt child shuns the fire. You have been burned once. The next person who contacts you offering help has earned your caution, not your trust.

RVK Recovery is a legal practice focused on cryptocurrency recovery, serving clients across Sweden remotely, in English or Swedish. It reviews fraud, theft, exchange lockouts, and lost access. It does not promise outcomes; if your matter has no practical path, you are told so in writing.

Three points you can rely on:

  • The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or

remote access to your devices.

  • The fee is 12.5%, due only after recovered funds reach your bank account.
  • You receive a confidential written assessment with no obligation to

proceed.

First steps after a loss in Sweden

If you transferred money from a Swedish account, contact your bank immediately; it can sometimes stop or recall a payment if you act fast.

File a police report. Investment and crypto fraud are reported by phone on 114 14 or at a police station; unlike card fraud, they cannot be reported online. You can tip Finansinspektionen, the Financial Supervisory Authority, which publishes names on its public warning list. Konsumenternas Bank- och finansbyrå offers free guidance.

Keep everything: emails, chats, screenshots of the platform, wallet addresses, transaction IDs. Send no more money.

Expect a second approach. Finansinspektionen warned in 2025 about what it calls räddningsbolag, "rescue companies": fraudsters who contact earlier victims and offer recovery for a fee, sometimes posing as known companies, banks, or the FSA itself. That is a second scam. A genuine firm never asks for upfront payment, your seed phrase, or remote access.

What the practice reviews

The work matches what is reported in Sweden:

  • Fake investment platforms that start with a fabricated news article about

bitcoin and a telephone advisor. Police describe a typical first deposit of around 2,500 kronor.

  • Romance fraud and pig butchering through messaging apps.
  • Phishing, SIM swap, and account takeover, including BankID fraud.
  • Fake recovery services aimed at people who already lost money.
  • Exchange lockouts and custodial disputes with genuine platforms.
  • Lost access: forgotten passwords, failed hardware wallets, incomplete

backups.

  • Estate matters where a deceased person's holdings are poorly documented.

The Swedish picture

In Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, and Uppsala the pattern is the same: an ad, a small first deposit, visible profits on a screen, and a block when you try to withdraw. Shame keeps reporting low, and Finansinspektionen states that the unreported figures are large.

Swedish law offers other routes: damages can in some cases be pursued through the prosecutor, home insurance (hemförsäkring) may cover part of a loss, and Brottsoffermyndigheten can pay state crime victim compensation.

The platforms are built by professionals. Being deceived by them is not a character flaw.

Fees, security, and jurisdiction

You pay 12.5% of recovered funds, only after the money reaches your bank account. No retainer, no hourly rate, no cryptocurrency payment to open a file. If the practice recovers nothing, you owe nothing.

Seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, and remote desktop access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, or any screen sharing) are never requested. Neither is a transfer of your remaining coins as a verification step. Anyone who asks for these in the practice's name is an impersonator.

Recovery is not guaranteed, and the practice publishes no success rates. Some matters have no practical path; that conclusion is stated in writing.

The practice does not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France. Every other country can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.

If a file proceeds, the practice must confirm you are the victim of that specific loss or hold lawful authority (an executor, or a company that is party to the contract). Proof is records, never a transfer of coins.

FAQ

Can stolen cryptocurrency be recovered?

Sometimes, where funds can be traced to an exchange or an identifiable entity, the evidence is usable, and a court can act. Mixers and privacy coins make tracing harder. An existing action against the same organisers can help. None of this is a promise.

What does it cost?

The review is free. The fee is 12.5% only if recovered funds reach your bank account. Nothing is paid upfront.

Will you ask for my seed phrase or remote access?

Never. Anyone who asks in the practice's name is not RVK Recovery.

Do I need to file a police report first?

No. A report helps and can evidence your victim status, but it is not required for a review.

Which countries are excluded?

Citizens and permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, and France. Every other country can be considered.

Request a confidential review

The review starts with six answers: full name, email, country and telephone, amount lost in USD, type of case, and a short account of what happened (up to 5,000 characters). No identity documents are needed for this first check. A specialist replies in writing within business days. Everything material is handled in writing, so there is a record.
