Crypto recovery in Spain after a scam
Spain has an old saying: no es oro todo lo que reluce, it is not gold, everything that shines. The platform that took your money shone: clean charts, weekly profits, an adviser who always answered. Until it did not. If that shine has gone dark, start with one fact: these schemes are built by professionals. Being deceived by them is not a character flaw.
RVK Recovery is a cryptocurrency recovery practice serving clients across Spain. It works remotely and in writing: it reviews what happened, checks whether the entity that took your money is already before a court, and tells you plainly whether a practical path exists.
Three fixed rules:
- It never asks for seed phrases, private keys, or remote access to your computer or phone.
- The fee is 12.5%, due only after recovered funds reach your own bank account.
- The first review is confidential, in writing, and free of obligation.

First steps in Spain
Preserve everything: emails, screenshots of the platform and the chats, transaction identifiers (TXIDs), wallet addresses, and bank statements. Delete nothing.
Send no more money. Not a fee, not a tax, not a "release cost". That demand is the second phase of the same scam.
File a police report, a denuncia, at any Policía Nacional station (comisaría) or Guardia Civil post (cuartel); an online pre-report is also possible at denuncias.policia.es, confirmed later in person. Ask for a copy with a registry number. You can also check the public warning lists of the CNMV, the Spanish markets regulator, for unlicensed investment firms. These channels are mentioned as information, not as endorsements.
Be wary of anyone who contacts you first offering recovery: victims are typically approached again within days. That is the second scam.
What the practice reviews
- Fake investment platforms and pyramid structures, the pattern behind Spain's largest crypto cases.
- Romance fraud and pig butchering that begin on social media or messaging apps.
- Phishing, impersonation of genuine exchanges, SIM swap.
- Lost access: forgotten passwords, lost two-factor devices, damaged wallets, incomplete records.
- Lockouts and documented disputes with genuine exchanges.
- Estates that include cryptocurrency with incomplete paperwork.
The picture in Spain
The Audiencia Nacional sentenced the founders of Arbistar, a platform that took some 200 million euros from 32,000 mostly small investors. The network known as Cryptospain, with more than 3,000 people affected, is moving toward trial. In 2026, one complaint from a resident of Oropesa who had lost about 340,000 euros uncovered an international network.
From Madrid and Barcelona to Valencia, Sevilla, Zaragoza, and the Mediterranean coast where many international residents live, the mechanics repeat: a Telegram group, a supposed broker, simulated profits, and new payment demands the moment you try to withdraw. RVK Recovery is a remote practice: it publishes no phone number, and the only address it lists is the UK registered office shown in the footer, a statutory address that receives no client visits; everything material is put in writing so there is a record.
Fees, security, jurisdiction
The fee is 12.5% of recovered funds, due only after the money reaches the client's bank account. No retainer, no hourly rate, no cryptocurrency payment to open a file. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.
Security is not negotiable. The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote desktop access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, screen sharing), and it never asks you to move your remaining coins anywhere as a check. Anyone who asks in the practice's name is an impersonator. Verify by opening rvkrecovery.com yourself, never through a link you were sent.
Recovery is not guaranteed, and the practice publishes no success rates. Some matters have no practical path; if yours is one of them, you will be told so in writing.
Jurisdiction: RVK Recovery does not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France. Every other country, including Spain, can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, the counterparty, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.
If a file proceeds, anti-money laundering rules require proof that you are the victim of that specific loss. That proof is records, never a transfer of coins.
FAQ
Can stolen cryptocurrency be recovered in Spain?
Sometimes. It depends on whether funds can be traced to an exchange or identifiable entity, the evidence, jurisdiction, and timing. The review guarantees no outcome.
What does a review cost?
Nothing. The initial review is free and carries no obligation. The 12.5% fee applies only if recovered funds reach your bank.
Will you ask for my seed phrase or remote access?
Never. No seed phrase, no private keys, no passwords, no remote desktop software. Anyone who asks in our name is not RVK Recovery.
Where do I report a crypto scam in Spain?
At any Policía Nacional or Guardia Civil station, or by starting a pre-report at denuncias.policia.es. Keep a copy with its registry number.
I already paid a recovery company. Can I still ask?
Yes. Treat that payment as a further loss and send nothing more. You can describe both episodes on the form.
A confidential review
Six answers are enough: full name, email, country and telephone, the approximate amount lost in US dollars, the type of case, and a short account of what happened (up to 5,000 characters). No identity documents are needed for this first check. A specialist replies in writing within business days.
