Crypto recovery in Serbia

Serbia has a craftsman's rule: measure twice, cut once. After money is lost once, it applies twice over. Before you pay anyone who promises to get it back, measure the facts.

RVK Recovery is a legal practice for cryptocurrency recovery: fraud and theft, lost wallet access, exchange lockouts, estates, and commercial disputes. It serves Serbia remotely and in writing, with no office in Belgrade, no telephone line, and no local representative.

Three facts to verify:

  • The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote desktop access.
  • The fee is 12.5%, paid only after recovered funds are deposited into your bank account.
  • The first review is confidential, in writing, and without obligation.

First steps after a scam in Serbia

Stop every payment to the platform and to anyone who contacted you through it. Do not pay a "withdrawal tax", an "unblocking fee", or a "verification deposit". These demands are part of the same fraud.

Keep everything: emails, chats, platform names, wallet addresses, transaction identifiers (TXID), bank statements, screenshots. Delete nothing.

File a criminal complaint with the Ministry of Interior (MUP) at any police station. These cases are handled by the High-Tech Crime Service (Služba za borbu protiv visokotehnološkog kriminala). If the platform has no license, report it to the National Bank of Serbia, which keeps the license register under the Law on Digital Assets. These institutions are named as information, not as partners.

The most important warning: people who have already lost money are contacted again by fake recovery specialists. An upfront fee, a seed phrase "for verification", a guaranteed result, or immediate remote access means a second scam.

What the practice reviews

Cases from Serbia follow patterns the MUP and the National Bank of Serbia describe publicly:

  • Fake investment platforms and "advisors" promising fast profit, as in the OKE Green case of 2025.
  • Call centres pushing crypto investments, often after fake ads on news portals.
  • Pyramid schemes, romance fraud, and offers through WhatsApp, Viber, and Telegram groups.
  • Lost access: forgotten passwords, lost two-factor devices, incomplete seed records, mis-sent transfers.
  • Disputes with genuine exchanges: frozen accounts, lockouts, unexplained restrictions.
  • Estates with incomplete records, commercial disputes, crypto loans, and stablecoin questions.

Several fake platforms can belong to one organiser who is already before a court. Checking whether an open case exists is free and needs no wallet credentials.

The local picture

In Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Niš, reports are dominated by fake investment platforms and call centres. In 2025 the MUP filed criminal complaints over the OKE Green platform, whose victims' money was converted into cryptocurrency and moved across multiple wallets. A year earlier, in a joint action with German and Cypriot investigators, an international chain of call centres pushing crypto investments was broken up; an illegal call centre was found in Belgrade.

These schemes are built by professionals. Being deceived by them is not a character flaw.

Fees, security, jurisdiction

No win, no fee. The client pays 12.5% only after recovered funds are deposited into the client's own bank account. No retainer. No hourly rate. No cryptocurrency payment to open a file. No charge for the first review. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.

The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote access of any kind (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, screen sharing). It never asks you to transfer remaining coins anywhere as proof. Anyone who asks for these things in the practice's name is an impersonator. Verify by opening https://rvkrecovery.com yourself.

Recovery is not guaranteed. Some matters have no practical path, and the practice says so in writing. It does not publish success rates.

The practice does not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France. Every other country can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.

If a file proceeds, anti-money laundering rules require proof that you are the victim of that specific loss, or that you hold lawful authority (an executor, or a company that is party to the contract). Proof means records, never a transfer of coins.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get my money back after a crypto scam in Serbia?

It depends on whether funds can be traced to an exchange or an identifiable party, on evidence, jurisdiction, and timing. The written review answers exactly that, without promises.

How much does recovery cost?

Nothing in advance. 12.5% of what is recovered, payable only after the funds reach your bank account.

Will you ask for my seed phrase or remote access?

Never. Anyone who asks for this in the name of RVK Recovery is an impersonator.

Where do I report a crypto scam in Serbia?

To the MUP at any police station; the case is handled by the High-Tech Crime Service. Unlicensed platforms can be reported to the National Bank of Serbia. A police report helps the file but is not a condition for a review.

Someone called me again offering recovery. What do I do?

Pay nothing. An upfront fee, a seed phrase, a guaranteed outcome, or remote access means a second scam. Note the number and include it in your account.

Do you accept clients from Serbia?

Yes. Serbia is served, as is every country except citizens and permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, and France.

Confidential review

The review starts with six answers: full name, email, country and telephone, amount lost in USD, type of case, and a short account of what happened, up to 5,000 characters. No identity documents are needed at this step. A specialist replies in writing, within business days. The reply obliges you to nothing.
