Crypto recovery in Indonesia: written, confidential, no upfront fees

An old Indonesian saying warns: tong kosong nyaring bunyinya. The empty barrel sounds the loudest. The platform that took your money was loud on purpose. Judge the next offer by its contents, not its volume.

RVK Recovery is a cryptocurrency recovery practice serving clients across Indonesia. It reviews lost access and wallet matters, crypto fraud and theft, custodial disputes and exchange lockouts, estate succession, and commercial disputes in digital assets. Three facts come first:

  • The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote access to your devices.
  • The fee is 12.5%, paid only after recovered funds are deposited in your own bank account. No recovery through the practice's efforts means nothing is owed.
  • A confidential review starts in writing, with no obligation to proceed.

First steps: report through the official channels

Stop all transfers. Do not pay anything described as a tax, verification fee, or release charge.

Preserve the evidence: transfer receipts, transaction IDs, wallet addresses, platform screenshots, and chat history, including phone numbers and destination accounts used.

Report immediately to the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) at iasc.ojk.go.id so the scammer's account can be suspended. For the criminal track, file a police report (Laporan Polisi) at a police station or through patrolisiber.id. Before using any crypto platform, check the OJK Whitelist of licensed PAKD and registered CPAKD; supervision moved from Bappebti to the OJK. Platforms outside the list are unsupervised. These channels are listed as information, not as partners or endorsements.

Treat any uninvited recovery offer as a second scam; victims are often contacted again within days. An upfront fee, a seed phrase "for verification", a guaranteed result, or immediate remote access: each is the signature of another theft.

What the practice reviews

  • Fake investment platforms and fabricated trading dashboards
  • Romance fraud and pig butchering that end in crypto transfers
  • Phishing, SIM swap, and unauthorised account takeover
  • Lost access: forgotten passwords, lost two-factor devices, damaged hardware wallets, incomplete seed records
  • Lockouts and frozen balances at genuine exchanges
  • Estate matters where the deceased held cryptocurrency
  • Commercial disputes, crypto loans, and stablecoin questions

Several fake platforms can belong to one organiser already before a court. A check whether an open case already exists is free and needs no wallet credentials.

The Indonesian picture

Files arrive from Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, and beyond. The IASC received 411,055 scam reports between 22 November 2024 and 28 December 2025, with about Rp9 trillion in reported losses. The pattern repeats: a social media ad, a "trading education" group on WhatsApp or Telegram, a self-styled professor, a fake app with invented profits, then tax demands at withdrawal.

Victims include professionals, retirees, and business owners; women, especially housewives, are the largest group in the IASC data. These schemes are built by professionals with staged members and fabricated testimonials; being deceived by that machinery is not a character flaw.

Fees, security, and jurisdiction: no win, no fee

The fee is 12.5% of recovered funds, due only after those funds are in your bank account. No retainer, no hourly rate, no cryptocurrency payment to open a file, no charge for a review. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.

The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote desktop access, and never asks you to move remaining coins. Anyone who asks in the practice's name is an impersonator.

Recovery is not guaranteed, and the practice does not publish success rates. Some matters have no practical path; if yours is one, you will be told so in writing.

The practice does not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France. Every other country, including Indonesia, can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.

There is no phone number and no live chat; the only published address is the UK registered office shown in the footer, which receives no client visits. Everything material is in writing, so there is a record.

FAQ

How do I report a crypto scam in Indonesia?

Report to the IASC at iasc.ojk.go.id for the financial track, or call Kontak OJK 157, and file a Laporan Polisi at a police station or through patrolisiber.id. For a legal assessment, request a confidential review.

Can money lost to a crypto scam be recovered?

Sometimes. It depends on tracing funds to an exchange or identifiable entity, the evidence, jurisdiction, and timing. No honest practice guarantees an outcome.

What are your fees?

12.5% of recovered funds, payable only after the money reaches your bank account. Nothing upfront, nothing without a recovery through the practice's efforts.

Will you ask for my seed phrase or remote access?

Never. Seed phrases, private keys, passwords, two-factor codes, and remote desktop access are not part of the method. Anyone who asks is attempting theft.

A careful next step

A confidential review starts with six answers: your full name, email, country and telephone, the amount lost in USD, the type of case, and a short account of what happened, up to 5,000 characters. No identity documents are needed for this check. A specialist replies in writing within business days. If your matter has no practical path, you will be told plainly.
