Crypto recovery for fraud victims in Hungary
Hungarian folk wisdom says jobb félni, mint megijedni: better to stay cautious than to be caught by the blow. After a loss, that caution belongs to the next decision: who gets your documents and transaction records.
RVK Recovery is a legal practice for crypto recovery in Hungary, working remotely and in writing. It reviews fraud, lost wallet access, exchange lockouts, and estate matters for clients from Budapest to Debrecen, Szeged, and Miskolc. Some cases cannot be recovered; if yours is one of them, you will be told so in writing.
- The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or remote access to your devices.
- The fee is 12.5%, due only after recovered funds reach your own bank account.
- The review is confidential, written, and without obligation.

First steps after a loss in Hungary
Cut all contact with the platform and send no more money: a "payout fee", a "tax", or an "account verification" charge is part of the scam, not a condition of withdrawal.
Preserve every record: emails, chats, screenshots, transaction identifiers (TXIDs), wallet addresses, bank statements. Then notify your bank and suspend your cards.
File a criminal complaint (feljelentés) with the Rendőrség: in person at any police station, or online on the Ügyintézési Portál (ugyintezes.police.hu) with an Ügyfélkapu login, form IN-100016; foreign residents with e-government access use the same portal. The emergency number is 112; anonymous tips go to Telefontanú at +36-80/555-111. A provider's licence can be checked in the Magyar Nemzeti Bank's market participant register; the MNB also publishes warnings about unauthorised providers in English. These bodies are listed as public information, not as partners.
Do not trust anyone who contacts you first offering to get the money back.
What the practice reviews
The schemes most reported in Hungary: fake broker firms and call centers, platforms advertised with fabricated videos of Hungarian public figures, trading robot promises, romance fraud and pig butchering, phishing, bank and authority impersonation, SIM swap, ransomware, fake recovery services. Beyond fraud: lost access (forgotten passwords, lost 2FA devices, incomplete seed records), lockouts at genuine exchanges, estates with cryptocurrency, commercial disputes, crypto loans, stablecoin questions.
Several fake platforms can belong to one organiser already before a court. Checking whether such an action exists is free and requires no wallet credentials.
The local picture
The Hungarian wave follows a script: a Facebook or Instagram ad with a deepfaked domestic celebrity, a first deposit of about 250 euro, an "account manager" who calls, new fees whenever a withdrawal is requested. Documented cases include victims talked into installing AnyDesk and taking out personal loans.
One clarification, since many arrive from market searches: the practice does not forecast prices; its work is legal recovery of specific lost assets.
These schemes are built by professionals. Being deceived by them is not a character flaw.
Fees, security, jurisdiction
The fee is 12.5%, payable only after recovered funds are deposited into your bank account. No retainer, no hourly rate, no cryptocurrency payment to open a file, no charge for the review. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.
RVK Recovery never asks for a seed phrase, private key, wallet password, two-factor code, or remote desktop access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, any screen sharing), and never asks you to move remaining coins as a verification step. Anyone who asks for these in the practice's name is an impersonator. Verify only by typing rvkrecovery.com into your browser, never through a link in a message.
No outcome is guaranteed and no success rates are published. A file with no practical path is declined in writing, with the reason stated.
Clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France are not accepted. Every other country can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.
If a file proceeds, the practice must confirm you are the victim of that specific loss, or hold lawful authority (an executor, or a company that is party to the contract). Proof is records, never a transfer of coins. There is no telephone number, street address, or live chat; everything material is in writing, so there is a record.
Fake recovery agent warning
People who have already lost money are contacted again within days by fake recovery agents. A firm that demands an upfront fee, a seed phrase "for verification", a guaranteed result, or immediate remote access is running a second scam. This is the single most valuable thing we can tell you.
FAQ
Can stolen crypto be recovered at all?
Sometimes: when funds can be traced to an exchange or an identifiable entity, the evidence is usable, and a court can act in time. Mixers and privacy coins make this harder.
What does the review cost?
Nothing. The review is free and without obligation. The 12.5% fee is due only from recovered funds once they are in your account.
Where do I report a crypto scam in Hungary?
First your bank, to stop payments. Then the Rendőrség, as described above. A suspected unlicensed provider can also be reported to the Magyar Nemzeti Bank.
I already paid another "recovery" company. What now?
Treat that payment as a further loss. Send it nothing more, give it no seed phrase, and describe both payments on the form.
Confidential review
Six answers are enough: full name, email, country and telephone, amount lost in USD, type of case, and a short account of what happened (up to 5,000 characters). No identity documents are needed for this first check. A specialist replies in writing, within business days. Sending the form begins no representation and obliges you to nothing.
