Crypto recovery for scam victims in the Czech Republic
A Czech workshop rule says: measure twice, cut once. If you have just lost cryptocurrency, this is the second measurement: who gets your documents and transaction records next cannot be taken back.
RVK Recovery is a legal practice for crypto recovery in the Czech Republic, working remotely and in writing. It reviews fraud, lost wallet access, exchange lockouts, and estate matters for clients from Prague to Brno, Ostrava, and Plzeň. Some cases cannot be recovered; if yours is one of them, you will be told so in writing.
- The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or remote access to your devices.
- The fee is 12.5%, due only after recovered funds reach your own bank account.
- The review is confidential, written, and without obligation.

First steps after a loss in Czechia
Stop all contact with the platform and send no more money: a fee for "withdrawal", "tax", or "account verification" is part of the scam, not a condition of getting funds back.
Keep every record: emails, chats, screenshots, transaction identifiers (TXIDs), wallet addresses, bank statements, terminal receipts. Then call your bank and have cards and payments blocked.
File a criminal complaint (trestní oznámení) with Policie ČR: any police unit must accept it in person, and electronic filing runs through the Czech data box system or the regional directorate's email desk. The emergency line is 158. If your Czech is limited, prepare the complaint in writing first. A provider's licence can be checked in the Czech National Bank's JERRS register; the ČNB also publishes warnings about unauthorised firms in English. These bodies are listed as public information, not as partners.
Do not trust anyone who contacts you first offering to recover the money.
What the practice reviews
The schemes most reported in Czechia: fake investment platforms and broker call centers, ads built on fabricated videos of public figures, romance fraud and pig butchering, phishing and bank impersonation, SIM swap, ransomware, fake recovery services. Beyond fraud: lost access (forgotten passwords, lost 2FA, incomplete seed records), lockouts at genuine exchanges, estates with cryptocurrency, commercial disputes, crypto loans, stablecoin questions.
Several fake platforms can belong to one organiser already before a court. Checking whether such an action exists is free and requires no wallet credentials.
The local picture
Prague's international community is approached in English: cold calls, Telegram and WhatsApp investment groups, dashboards showing profits that do not exist. Czech police reported a sharp rise in investment fraud for 2025. A pattern specific to this country: victims instructed to buy crypto vouchers at shop terminals, the code going straight to the scammer.
These schemes are built by professionals. Being deceived by them is not a character flaw.
Fees, security, jurisdiction
The fee is 12.5%, payable only after recovered funds are deposited into your bank account. No retainer, no hourly rate, no cryptocurrency payment to open a file, no charge for the review. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.
RVK Recovery never asks for a seed phrase, private key, wallet password, two-factor code, or remote desktop access (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, any screen sharing), and never asks you to move remaining coins as a verification step. Anyone who asks for these in the practice's name is an impersonator. Verify only by opening rvkrecovery.com yourself, never through a link in a message.
No outcome is guaranteed and no success rates are published. A file with no practical path is declined in writing, with the reason stated.
Clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France are not accepted. Every other country can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.
If a file proceeds, the practice must confirm you are the victim of that specific loss, or hold lawful authority (an executor, or a company that is party to the contract). Proof is records, never a transfer of coins. There is no telephone number, street address, or live chat; everything material is in writing, so there is a record.
Fake recovery agent warning
People who have already lost money are contacted again within days by fake recovery agents. A firm that demands an upfront fee, a seed phrase "for verification", a guaranteed result, or immediate remote access is running a second scam. This is the single most valuable thing we can tell you.
FAQ
Can stolen bitcoin be recovered at all?
Sometimes: when funds can be traced to an exchange or an identifiable entity, the evidence is usable, and a court can act in time. Mixers and privacy coins make this harder. No serious firm guarantees an outcome.
What does the review cost?
Nothing. The review is free and without obligation. The 12.5% fee is due only from recovered funds once they are in your account.
Where do I report a crypto scam in the Czech Republic?
First your bank, to block payments. Then Policie ČR, as described above. A suspected unlicensed provider can also be reported to the Czech National Bank.
I already paid another "recovery" company. What now?
Treat that payment as a further loss. Send it nothing more and give it no seed phrase. Describe both payments on the form.
Confidential review
Six answers are enough: full name, email, country and telephone, amount lost in USD, type of case, and a short account of what happened (up to 5,000 characters). No identity documents are needed for this first check. A specialist replies in writing, within business days. Sending the form begins no representation and obliges you to nothing.
