Crypto recovery in Bulgaria

Bulgarian craftsmen have a rule: measure three times, cut once. After a financial loss, the rule doubles in force. Before you pay anyone who promises to get your money back, measure the facts first.

RVK Recovery is a legal practice for cryptocurrency recovery: fraud and theft, lost wallet access, exchange lockouts, estates, and commercial disputes. It serves Bulgaria remotely and in writing, with no office in Sofia, no telephone line, and no local representative.

Three facts to verify immediately:

  • The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote desktop access.
  • The fee is 12.5%, paid only after recovered funds are deposited into your own bank account.
  • The first review is confidential, in writing, and without obligation.

First steps after a scam in Bulgaria

Stop every payment to the platform and to anyone who contacted you through it. Do not pay a "withdrawal tax", a "release fee", or a "verification deposit". These demands are part of the same fraud.

Keep everything: emails, chats, platform names, wallet addresses, transaction hashes (TXID), bank statements, screenshots. Delete nothing.

File a report with the Cybercrime Directorate of GDBOP at the Ministry of Interior (Дирекция „Киберпрестъпност", ГДБОП-МВР): by email at report@cybercrime.bg or at your local police directorate. For investment fraud, check the registers and warnings of the Financial Supervision Commission (Комисия за финансов надзор, fsc.bg). These institutions are named as information, not as partners.

The most important warning: people who have already lost money are often approached again by fake recovery specialists. An upfront fee, a seed phrase "for verification", a guaranteed result, or immediate remote access means a second scam.

What the practice reviews

Cases from Bulgaria follow schemes the Interior Ministry and the Financial Supervision Commission describe publicly:

  • Fake investment platforms and telephone brokers promising fast returns of 50 to 100 percent.
  • Callers posing as staff of well-known exchanges who push you to move your assets off the platform, citing European regulation.
  • Romance and messaging-app investment fraud, including pig butchering.
  • Lost access: forgotten passwords, lost two-factor devices, incomplete seed records, mis-sent transfers.
  • Disputes with genuine exchanges: frozen accounts, lockouts, unexplained restrictions.
  • Estates with incomplete records, commercial disputes, crypto loans, and stablecoin questions.

Several fake platforms can belong to one organiser who is already before a court. Checking whether an open case exists is free and requires no wallet credentials.

The local picture

In Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna, the dominant reports through 2025 and 2026 concern call centres with "investment consultants" and platforms that imitate real financial websites. The Commission has publicly warned about callers posing as employees of international crypto platforms who cite the European MiCA regulation to make users withdraw assets or follow a link. Romance-investment fraud follows a familiar script here: a small early profit that can be withdrawn, then a "frozen" balance and demands for taxes and fees.

These schemes are built by professionals. Being deceived by them is not a character flaw.

Fees, security, jurisdiction

No win, no fee. The client pays 12.5% only after recovered funds are deposited into the client's own bank account. No retainer. No hourly rate. No cryptocurrency payment to open a file. No charge for the first review. If there is no recovery through the practice's efforts, nothing is owed.

The practice never asks for seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, two-factor codes, or remote access of any kind (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, UltraViewer, Chrome Remote Desktop, screen sharing). It never asks you to transfer remaining coins anywhere as proof. Anyone who asks for these things in the practice's name is an impersonator. Verify by opening https://rvkrecovery.com yourself.

Recovery is not guaranteed. Some matters have no practical path, and the practice says so in writing. It does not publish success rates.

The practice does not accept clients who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, or France. Every other country can be considered. Each file is judged on the applicable law, where the counterparty is, the evidence, any existing court action, and whether enforcement is practical.

If a file proceeds, anti-money laundering rules require proof that you are the victim of that specific loss, or that you hold lawful authority (an executor, or a company that is party to the contract). Proof means records, never a transfer of coins.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get my money back after a crypto scam in Bulgaria?

It depends on whether funds can be traced to an exchange or an identifiable party, on evidence, jurisdiction, and timing. The written review answers exactly that, without promises.

How much does recovery cost?

Nothing in advance. 12.5% of what is recovered, payable only after the funds reach your bank account.

Will you ask for my seed phrase or remote access?

Never. Anyone who asks for this in the name of RVK Recovery is an impersonator.

Where do I report a crypto scam in Bulgaria?

To the Cybercrime Directorate of GDBOP at the Ministry of Interior (report@cybercrime.bg) or at your local police directorate. A police report helps the file but is not a condition for a review.

Someone called me again offering recovery. What do I do?

Pay nothing. An upfront fee, a seed phrase, a guaranteed outcome, or remote access means a second scam. Note the number and include it in your account.

Do you accept clients from Bulgaria?

Yes. Bulgaria is served, as is every other country except citizens and permanent residents of the United States, Germany, Italy, and France.

Confidential review

The review starts with six answers: full name, email, country and telephone, amount lost in USD, type of case, and a short account of what happened, up to 5,000 characters. No identity documents are needed for this first check. A specialist replies in writing, within business days. The reply obliges you to nothing.
